From Mumbai
You can travel from Mumbai to Trimbakeshwar by train, bus or car. If you choose the train, travel to Nashik Road railway station and continue to Trimbakeshwar using the Nashik travel options below.

From Pune
MSRTC and private buses run direct to Trimbakeshwar from Shivajinagar and Swargate. If you prefer to travel by car or cab, the road distance is 230–244 km via NH 60, and the drive takes about 5–5.5 hours.
You can also check the IRCTC app for trains to Nashik Road railway station. From the station, continue to Trimbakeshwar by taxi or use the bus options described below. Flying is not practical for this trip.

From Shirdi

Citilinc city buses for Trimbakeshwar leave from outside Nashik Road railway station. They pass Thakkar Bazar, Dwarka Circle, Nimani and Satpur on the way. When you reach Trimbakeshwar, get off at the bus stand and walk over to the Bhakta Niwas.
Nashik Road railway station is 35–36 km from Trimbakeshwar. A taxi takes about 55 minutes to 1 hour. You can also use the Citilinc bus from outside the station or travel by bus from Nashik.
From Nashik (Ozar) Airport, take a cab to Trimbakeshwar. The airport is about 50–56 km away, and the journey takes about 1–1.5 hours by cab.
