Daily puja timings explained
The temple trust holds three pujas every day. The morning puja, described as the puja of Brahma Dev, takes place from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM. The mid-day puja of Mahadev runs from 10:45 AM to 12:30 PM.
A madhyanha puja and special rituals also take place between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM. In the evening, Vishnu puja and aarti take place from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. These are puja timings, while general darshan is available throughout the temple’s daily opening hours.
Festival days can affect timings. The temple trust notes that timings may change on days such as Mahashivratri and Shravan Mondays, so check official announcements when planning a visit around a festival.
Monday palkhi and golden crown darshan
Every Monday, a palkhi procession of Lord Trimbakeshwar is taken to Kushavarta Tirth, where puja is performed. On Monday evenings, the golden crown, or mukut, of Lord Shiva is placed on the lingam around 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
If you want to see the golden crown, plan to visit on a Monday during that time window. On other days, devotees can have regular darshan of the Jyotirlinga.
