Why staying close matters

According to the local Purohit Sangh, rituals such as Kaal Sarp Shanti and Tripindi are performed at Kushavarta Tirtha or at the purohits' homes. Narayan Nagbali begins with a purification bath at Kushavarta, and its main rites are held at the Ahilya-Godavari Sangam and the nearby Sati Maha-Shmashan. Your purohit will tell you where to come. On puja days you may need to be there at a fixed time, after a bath. A stay within walking distance takes away the worry of finding an auto or parking each morning.

Our Bhakta Niwas is about 1.5 km from Kushavarta, a 10–15 minute walk, and about 900 m from the temple. The temple is close too, for your darshan.
